Rachel was born in LA California, and started playing music in front of audiences when she was 7, busking on the streets of Peru. In 2010 she got together with some friends of considerable talent and formed “Rachel Davis and the Banned” with the aim of bringing some good music to life with some good humoured people.

Doing covers, The Banned has the ability making you sit up and appreciate their own take on a known favourite, Rachel’s near 5 octave range and powerful vocals help with that. And you can also be captivated by a catchy original - she once tried to describe her style to someone as "Led Zeppelin meets Joni Mitchell, and goes to Hank Williams house," Whatever they are playing though, Rachel Davis and The Banned show that they came to play, and the fun on stage, makes for more fun on the floor!
