Eddie Warren recently spent 5 years touring Canada and the United States, playing everything from acoustic venues to large theatres, and opening for Bands such as Sister Hazel, the Pat McGee band, The Trews, Monte Montgomery, Bob Schnieder, Eric Tesmer, Warren Hood and the Hoodlums and Terri Hendrix. Eddie recently had a show featured on the BBC radio in the UK for an audience of ten million listeners. He has performed with members from the Neville Brothers, The Itols, The Trews, Burton Cummings, Ephriam Owens, and many more, and has opened for bands ranging from Punk and Indie Rock to R&B and Jazz. Eddie has won many battle of the bands competitions as well as guitar and singer/songwriter contests.
Eddie's style is unique and always drops a few jaws with his Michael Hedges and Stanley Jordon style of tapping full chords, lead notes, bass and percussion all at once. Mixed with a blend of singer/songwriter, R&B , Jazz, Rock and Funk. Comparisons to John Mayer are evident, only more groove-orientated. Eddie has spent the last year playing seven nights a week in Austin Texas. Shredding strings down on sixth st where greats like Stevie Ray Vaughn have built their career. The latest are two live performances on 102.3 KPEZ the classic rock station and 93.7 KLBJ, as well as a performance on 107.1 KJSR promoting an opening show for Monte Montgomery on August 19th 06.
