I was probably only five when I picked up my first Beach Boys record and from then on, I knew that music would be the guiding force in my life. A year later, I started training in classical piano. Shortly thereafter, my father bought me a used classical guitar which along with piano, became my major creative outlet . While learning Bach preludes and fugues and many Beethoven sonatas, I was also tape recording my own tunes on cassette. Today, not much has changed.

Along the way I have had the pleasure of playing with many talented musicians. I've played with Dan Blackburn, Alex Kelley and Mike Jones since our early teens. Their eclectic and trademark styles are apparent in the acoustic blend of the Steamclocks. My influences are always evolving but I've been strongly influenced by the stylings of Paul Simon, Jim Croce, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Nilsson, Radiohead, Todd Rundgren, Wilco and Mason Jennings. I'm also really enjoying David Bowie, Love, and the Left Banke currently. I guess all of this has led me here, and I hope you enjoy the work. There is more to come.
